Write letters when you are negatively affected by fragrances. If possible try to find out the name of whatmade you sick. (If you can do it without further harm to yourself). Keep copies of your letters
and send them registered with a return receipt. Send copies to your legislative representatives,
document on your letter you are cc'ing. If you are made ill by your mail being contaminated. Write
the Postal Service. http://www.usps.gov/
You can request a complaint form at your local Post Office or you can use their online site.

Write those responsible for the contamination if possible *If you are made ill by a perfume, cosmetic product, or personal care product - Write the manufacture

Then there is always our State's Representatives. I wish they could start hearing a "shout from the masses" as to our disapproval of all the contaminants allowed in our enviroment. And what are they

Pesticide testing in humans, information on which companies are now involved.

Bayer plans to test the pesticide methamidiphos on volunteers in Scotland.

Switzerland's Novartis AG says it recently began testing diazinon with about 60 volunteers at an undisclosed private U.S. laboratory.

Amvac Chemical Corp., a unit of American Vanguard Corp. in conducted trials with dichlorvos on
21 volunteers in late 1996 at a research company owned by the University of Manchester in England.

The Dow AgroSciences unit is awaiting approval from a U.S. laboratory for a human test with chlorpyrifos.

*Cheminova Agro AS, based in Lemvig, Denmark, says it plans to test malathion on volunteers at the Inveresk lab in Scotland "within the next two months."

In all, the article goes on to say, at least seven human tests with pesticides are under way or planned, according to Chris F. Wilkinson, a pesticide industry consultant with Jellinek, Schwartz & Connolly Inc.,
in Arlington, Va.

Quote from this article: "The pesticides being tested on humans range from mildly to highly toxic; some can be lethal in large doses. But the companies say the amounts given -- usually in a blend of
corn oil in gelatin capsules, or mixed in orange juice -- are too small to cause harm."
